Meta and YouTube Reverse Course, Will Run Ads for Elon Musk Documentary

Meta and YouTube have reversed earlier decisions to reject paid advertising for Alex Gibney's upcoming documentary about Elon Musk, after The Hollywood Reporter reported that multiple social media platforms had refused to run the ad. A Meta spokesperson said the rejection was "an error" and the ads were being restored, while YouTube said its system had "temporarily restricted" the trailer before clearing it following review.

Microsoft pauses KB5002907 update after reports it deactivates perpetual Office licenses

Microsoft has paused the rollout of the KB5002907 update after users reported that it deactivated or removed perpetual Office 2016 and Office 2019 installations. The optional update, intended to update outdated Microsoft 365 Apps, also targeted non-subscription Office versions. One managed service provider reported that the update installed automatically on customer devices despite being listed as optional.
