Queensland Premier David Crisafulli has accused the Albanese government of launching a “siege” on small business through federal measures on card surcharges, trust taxation and worker holiday visas, and renewed the state's complaint of an “inbuilt injustice” in how GST revenue is shared. In a Monday breakfast address to business leaders, he said Queensland had to stand up for itself, as the LNP government prepares to pass the halfway mark of its four-year term this week.
