American Express on Thursday announced a partnership with Airbnb that brings more than 1 million Airbnb listings to its travel portal, allowing eligible cardholders to earn Membership Rewards points on bookings. The move adds short-term rental options to Amex's hotel portfolio and gives Platinum cardholders new ways to use their annual lodging credit.
