The father of triple murder accused Robert O'Connor died after suffering 44 stab wounds in what the Chief State Pathologist described as a sustained and violent attack at the family home in Co Louth, the Central Criminal Court has heard. His wife Louise was stabbed at least 20 times, the court was told.
