Mexican federal prosecutors have charged former Chihuahua attorney general César Jáuregui Moreno with treason for allowing US agents to take part in a raid on a suspected drugs lab in April without federal authorisation. The rare charge, which he denies, has reignited sensitivities over US involvement on Mexican soil and is set to face a court hearing on Saturday.
