Condé Nast's UK arm saw pre-tax profits excluding exceptional items fall 36% to nearly £18m last year, as revenues in the country dropped 7% to £70.6m, newly filed accounts show. The decline comes shortly after the Newhouse family, which controls the luxury magazine publisher, ruled out a sale.
