A new dining precinct called Baillie Hill has opened in East Victoria Park, Perth, at the site of Western Australia's first dedicated maternity hospital. The $25 million redevelopment, funded by state, federal and private money, features several venues including Beth's Bakery, The Berwick pub, Milly's Acre and Greensleeves gelato kiosk. The precinct opened in January and is already drawing locals with its mix of pub classics, wood-fired pizza, Asian-influenced dishes and house-made gelato.
