A review of 41 studies involving millions of people across East Asia and the United Kingdom has found a link between long-term exposure to fine particulate air pollution and increased risk of glaucoma and cataracts. The findings were presented in September at the 44th Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons in London.
