US Politics · Trump super PACs pour $300m into House races as once-safe Republican seats become competitive

Trump-aligned super PACs have unleashed more than $300 million into the midterm campaign, with new Federal Election Commission filings showing heavy spending in House districts that were barely competitive two years ago. The outlays include $75.5 million in the first two weeks of October, much of it routed through two new groups: No Going Back PAC and Safety & Affordability PAC, which together have reported over $209 million in independent expenditures.
