Sri Lankan chef Gayan Pieris has opened his first Melbourne restaurant, the 160-seat Agnii on Chapel Street's Windsor end, built around a wood-fired hearth and a menu he hopes will set a new benchmark for Sri Lankan dining. The venue, 18 months in the making, opened on October 23.
