Science · Cambridge team's $10 chip could bring lab-grade sensing to wearables

Researchers at the University of Cambridge and start-up GlitterinTech have developed an optical sensor costing about $10 that they say delivers laboratory-level precision in a device small enough for wearable health monitors, with early tests showing accurate, noninvasive blood glucose tracking.
