A man is to stand trial charged with the murder of a mother more than 30 years ago, following a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow. Fraser Kilpatrick, 68, is accused of killing 31-year-old Shona Stevens in Irvine, North Ayrshire, in November 1994, and faces 15 further charges spanning from 1986 to 2001, including rape and assault of women and children.
