The FBI has arrested and charged a 17-year-old McKinney resident with allegedly planning to assassinate U.S. Rep. Keith Self of Texas' 3rd District and carry out a terrorist attack on behalf of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), federal authorities said. The arrest occurred on Oct. 5 after the teenager acquired a firearm, according to authorities.
