Orbit Resources has visually identified 11.8 metres of semi-massive to massive sulphides in drilling at its Lewis Ponds gold-silver and base metals project in New South Wales’ Lachlan Fold Belt. The intersection includes a 3.55-metre section estimated to contain 50 per cent sulphide minerals from 255 metres downhole, suggesting a significant zone of polymetallic mineralisation. Assay results are expected in the December quarter.
