Space · NASA's simulated Mars crew marks one year inside habitat

Four volunteers have spent the past year living and working inside a 1,700-square-foot 3D-printed habitat at NASA's Johnson Space Center as part of the agency's simulated Mars mission. The crew, part of the Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analog (CHAPEA) Mission 2, will exit the habitat on Oct. 31 after 378 days of isolation.
