Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered security forces to cordon off Hebron immediately and prepare a full closure of the West Bank, hours after two gunmen were killed in a firefight at a checkpoint near the city in an attack that wounded five people. The order, issued days before Israeli elections, came as the far-right national security minister called for the Palestinian Authority to be dismantled.
