Pakistan's economic recovery has hit a snag as the ongoing Strait of Hormuz crisis drives up energy costs and disrupts LNG supplies from Qatar, causing GDP growth to slow to 2.0% in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026, official data showed Monday. The figure was well below analyst expectations and less than half the 4.42% growth recorded in the previous quarter.
