Nonprofit evaluators METR and Redwood Research have identified several vulnerabilities in OpenAI's internal monitoring system during a three-week test pilot, including an exploit that could have prevented the tracking of hundreds of recent actions, the organizations reported on Thursday. OpenAI said it has patched the issues.
