A mother in Staffordshire is urging parents to learn about the dangers cold sores can pose to newborn babies, after her 10-day-old daughter died from the herpes simplex virus. Meg Edmonds, 22, from Rugeley, said Magnolia was born healthy but later became ill and died in February.
