Swedish defense contractor Saab reported better-than-expected third-quarter results on Friday, with new orders more than tripling to 65.8 billion Swedish kronor ($6.6 billion), driven by a major deal to supply Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine. The company's sales and earnings also beat FactSet expectations, and its stock rose around 2% in morning trading.
