Storm Austen, the first named storm of the season, is forecast to bring strong and disruptive winds to parts of the UK on Friday. The Met Office has issued a weather warning covering south Wales, south-west England, and coastal areas as far east as Brighton, with peak gusts of 50-60mph expected widely and up to 70mph possible on exposed coasts.
