U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff is expected to travel to Norway this week for peace talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European officials, then on to Russia for a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, Reuters reported on Oct. 19. The trip follows an Oct. 18 phone call among Zelensky, Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner on possible next steps toward a peace agreement.
