Japanese Bitcoin treasury firm Metaplanet has secured shareholder approval to acquire a 93.7% stake in Nasdaq-listed gaming and digital media company Super League, paying 2,100 Bitcoin (BTC) and $2.5 million in cash. The deal gives Metaplanet a public platform in US capital markets to raise funds for additional Bitcoin purchases.
