Tesco could open its first store on the Isle of Skye by the end of 2028, after developer West Ranga Skye Limited submitted a detailed planning application to Highland Council for a food store and fuel filling station in Portree. The company said the supermarket could employ around 100 people, with construction potentially starting next summer if permission is granted.
