Anduril founder Palmer Luckey and Colossal Biosciences CEO Ben Lamm have unveiled Warhound, a defense startup emerging from stealth with a $200 million seed round. The company plans to clone, gene-edit and equip military working dogs to address what it describes as a critical supply chain and performance problem in the U.S. military’s K-9 program. Former Marine and Pentagon chief data officer David Spirk will lead the company from Texas.
