A fortnight of gold sector capital raisings on the ASX has left most new investors nursing losses, with eight of ten deals examined trading below issue price by Friday morning even as brokers collected cash fees and option packages worth millions. Perth broker Argonaut Securities featured on $225 million of the fundraising, including the week's heavyweight deal, Wiluna Mining's $180 million return to the ASX.
