Champion jockey Zac Purton has defended his ride on beaten Everest favourite Ka Ying Rising, saying he would not ride the horse any differently after angry punters turned on him online and the Hong Kong hero, the shortest-priced favourite in the race's history, finished second to Tempted at Randwick on Saturday.
