The company's maiden drilling program at Spectre delivered a standout intercept in the first hole: 6.1 metres grading 3.18 per cent copper, 1.37 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 147.9 g/t silver and 1.35 per cent zinc from 45.72 metres downhole. This lies within a broader 19.81-metre mineralised sulphide zone carrying 1.77 per cent copper, 0.8 g/t gold, 84.3 g/t silver and 2.3 per cent zinc from 42.67 metres.
A second hole, collared 77 metres along strike, also intersected strong mineralisation: 6.1 metres assaying 1.1 per cent copper, 0.27 g/t gold, 88.3 g/t silver and 3.34 per cent zinc from 73.15 metres, inside a broader 39.2-metre zone. The first hole additionally hit a high-grade zinc-rich zone closer to surface, with 3.05 metres at 29.5 per cent zinc from just 12.19 metres.
Manhattan Gold technical advisor Sam Vaughan noted that drilling at depth remains limited, meaning the full extent of these systems is still untested. The discovery adds a polymetallic dimension to the Hook Lake project, which already hosts the flagship Jaws gold target.
