    Australia's home affairs department ordered every federal agency to review legacy technology and plan cuts to ageing systems after AI agent hacks exposed Medicare vulnerabilities. The order targets government tech debt.

    Epic pauses product development to fix security flaws found by AI model

    Epic paused most product development for an estimated six weeks to fix MyChart flaws that could let outsiders access patient data undetected. Anthropic's Mythos cybersecurity model found the bugs.

    Fine-grained routing makes sparse video attention faster without quality loss

    UC San Diego and ByteDance Seed researchers showed VSA2 generated 720p video substantially faster than FlashAttention-3 with comparable or better quality. It selects a query-dependent subset of token interactions.
