New York Governor Kathy Hochul has announced the AI Jobs Institute, a Long Island City training hub designed to bring up to 40,000 lower-income New Yorkers into the AI workforce by 2032. The institute, backed by $10 million in public and private funding, will be designed and run by the nonprofit Pursuit.
