‘A passion for bark and leaves’: Perth billionaires donate $120m to environment
Wright Burt Foundation to share funds among 10 organisations, with largest grants to conservation groups and Greenpeace
Perth billionaires Alexandra and Julian Burt have announced a donation of more than $120 million to 10 environmental organisations, to be distributed by the end of the year. The largest gifts, of $25 million each, will go to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, Bush Heritage Australia and Greenpeace.
