Construction Robotics Funding Triples to $1.6B in 2026, Led by Three Startups
Venture investment surges amid labour shortages and an AI data centre boom that adds to competition for workers
Venture funding for construction robotics companies has soared to about $1.6 billion this year through 29 October, more than quadruple the $389 million raised in all of 2025 and triple the previous annual peak set in 2021, according to Crunchbase data. The surge is driven by three startups that together account for 83 % of the total, as contractors struggle to find enough skilled workers and the AI data centre boom intensifies competition for labour.
