Pancreatic cancer vaccine triggers immune response in nearly all patients, early trial shows
Phase 2 trial of camupepimut targets KRAS mutations, but shows no statistically significant difference in disease-free survival
A phase 2 clinical trial led by a researcher at the Mayo Clinic found that camupepimut generated a strong immune response against mutated KRAS in nearly all patients with KRAS-mutated pancreatic cancer who received it. However, the study found no statistically significant difference in disease-free survival between the vaccine and control groups, and the vaccine’s benefits remain unclear.
