EON Aboriginal Foundation says more than 60 communities are on a waitlist as it struggles to engage with state ministers
EON Aboriginal Foundation, a Western Australian not-for-profit that runs nutrition programs in remote Indigenous communities, says it made more than 20 written attempts to engage with state ministers and departments since June 2023 but was unable to secure meaningful discussion or direction. Chair Caroline de Mori has accused the Cook government of “arrogance and unprofessionalism” in a letter to the premier’s office, and says more than 60 communities are now on a waitlist for the program.
