Chainalysis discloses breach after what it calls 'offensive agentic techniques'
Customer information accessed, but investigation data unaffected
Blockchain intelligence firm Chainalysis has disclosed a security incident in which attackers used what it described as 'offensive agentic techniques' to gain unauthorized access to its internal systems. The company said some customer information, including names, email addresses, user IDs, and organizational role labels, was accessed, but said its investigation to date had found no evidence of unauthorized access to sensitive investigation data or authentication credentials.
