Lib Dem panel says Chris Rennard case cannot reopen without new evidence
Davey says he is 'disappointed and upset'; Rennard calls for complaint to be published in full
The Liberal Democrat peer Chris Rennard will face no further investigation into sexual harassment allegations made against him, after an independent panel concluded that without new evidence the case could not be reopened. Party leader Ed Davey said he was "disappointed and upset" by the outcome, while Rennard said the complaint should be published in full and argued the reopened investigation should never have happened.
