Aureka secures seven-year licence for historic Comstock gold mine
Licence covers Walker Zone and main Comstock Shear near St Arnaud; strategy includes potentially sending Comstock ore to Wedderburn mill
Aureka Limited has been granted a seven-year licence for Victoria's historic Comstock gold and silver mine, opening the door to mining at the site near St Arnaud for the first time since 1995. The licence, granted by Resources Victoria, covers a 4.5-hectare portion of the previously disturbed mine site, including the Walker Zone and the main Comstock Shear.
