Dave Wehner, Meta's chief strategy officer, announced on X on Friday that he is leaving the company to become chief financial officer of Fireworks, an AI startup focused on open models. Fireworks CEO Lin Qiao said Wehner will be tasked with scaling the company's finances and operations.
