Bailiffs acting for Jaguar Land Rover raided the Dutch offices of Chinese carmaker BYD in August and reportedly seized digital records, according to the Sunday Times, before a legal showdown in The Hague this week over allegations that BYD’s Ti7 SUV infringes the intellectual property of the Land Rover Defender.
