University of Queensland alumnus Dr Zachary Tan has co-founded AI eye-screening company Optain Health, which has raised US$50 million and has a screening tool installed at 500 sites worldwide. Tan says the company screened 150,000 patients in the past 12 months, 20,000 of whom had some form of disease.
