A Metropolitan Police detective who was raped by a fellow officer has told the BBC that Scotland Yard's handling of her civil case made her feel 'like being raped all over again'. Det Con Linda Williams has settled her claim for damages after the Met failed to protect her from serial abuser PC David Carrick, but she says the force's legal team challenged the severity of her post-traumatic stress disorder by arguing she had been raped only once. In an unprecedented move for a serving officer, she is now calling for Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley to resign, saying he has not changed the culture as promised.
