PM Burnham Doubles Down on Rough Sleeping Pledge with £432m Boost and Summit
Government confident every rough sleeper will have route off the street by Christmas
Prime Minister Andy Burnham set out his confidence on 25 October that everyone sleeping rough will be offered a route off the street or wider support before Christmas, as he announced an additional £432 million for the mission and hosted the first-ever Rough Sleeping Summit at Downing Street. The total investment behind the Government’s flagship commitment now stands at £874 million.
