Nexus Mods makes AI disclosure mandatory for new uploads
Platform says it is ‘pro-human creativity’ but will not ban AI-generated mods
Nexus Mods, the largest repository for PC gaming mods, will require mod authors to declare whether artificial intelligence was used in their work when uploading new mods, site owner Victor “Foledinho” Folmann announced. Existing mods have a 60-day grace period ending January 2, after which enforcement will begin.
