Full south-east Queensland rail services to resume in November as wage deal struck
Members of five unions vote to accept 10.5% deal; controllers vote down agreement; RTBU secretary says members fear longer control-panel hours; ETU vote pending
Full rail services are due to return to south-east Queensland from November 16, the state government says, as a maintenance backlog comes to an end after industrial action and members from five of the seven unions involved vote to accept a wage deal. Transport Minister Brent Mickelberg announced the return of full timetables on Monday, acknowledging the months of disruption faced by commuters.
