Selkirk mill site approved for 59 affordable homes
Scottish Borders Housing Association wins consent for Whinfield Road development on former Heather Mills site
Scottish Borders Housing Association has received approval to build 59 affordable homes on the site of the former Heather Mills in Selkirk, after councillors backed the Whinfield Road project. The mill shut in 2009 after almost 150 years and was badly damaged by fire about a decade later before being demolished.
