Shannon Taylor, a Henrico County prosecutor and Democrat, has defeated Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA), who represented Virginia’s 1st Congressional District for nearly two decades, according to the Associated Press. Taylor led by about 2 percentage points when the race was called on Thursday afternoon.
