Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos, through the Bezos Earth Fund, have committed $100 million as a founding member of the Species Recovery Alliance, a $500 million conservation initiative announced at the COP17 UN biodiversity conference in Armenia. The funding targets species classified as endangered, critically endangered, or extinct in the wild by the IUCN.
