Systemd to support Rust modules, developer announces
New leaf components can be written in Rust with conditions
Systemd, the Unix init system, will support the Rust programming language for new modules, developer Christian Brauner announced. Brauner said the feature had been merged as version 263 was under construction, allowing Rust code for new leaf components but not porting existing C code or writing Rust for components that other components depend on.
