One Nation volunteer had brain bleed after alleged baseball bat attack, Pauline Hanson says
A 37-year-old man has been charged and a 14-year-old boy cautioned over the alleged assault in Torquay. Hanson visited the victim on Tuesday and contradicted police assessments of his condition.
One Nation leader Pauline Hanson on Tuesday visited a 60-year-old party volunteer in hospital who she says suffered a brain bleed and lost consciousness after being allegedly attacked with a baseball bat by a man and a teenager at his Torquay home. Police have charged a 37-year-old Hampton Park man with intentionally causing injury, while the 14-year-old boy received a caution. Hanson described the attack as life-threatening, directly challenging the police characterisation of the injuries as non-life-threatening.
