Uber has successfully argued that a £340 million lawsuit brought by London black cab drivers and two private hire firms should be thrown out, after a High Court judge ruled the case had been filed too late. Mr Justice Birt dismissed the claims without examining whether the ride-hailing app had misled Transport for London, as the judge found the claimants could have discovered the alleged deception before 2018.
